........
“Hearth’s Cliff Cavern…” the tavern matron warned, “a hell-spawn lives there that naught has spat out any fool who dared enter therein. Not even bones have returned…”
The matron’s words haunt you as you gaze at the narrow entrance hidden among the cliff rocks. As you enter the echoing cavern, the humid stench of death presses in on the party, and you find yourselves stumbling over uneven rocks and loose, wet, stones. The walls of the cavern are slick with moisture, and a faint, eerie glow emanates from the overgrown moss that clings to the ceiling. The sound of dripping water echoes throughout the space, making it hard to tell where one sound ends and another begins. Though the cavern be dark and treacherous, you've come too far to turn back now...

This is my submission to the P2D [PEN, PAPER, DICE] GAME JAM. This jam was for making additional content for the very cool P2D system made by Nicolas Barcelos. For the jam, I created a Dungeons and Dragons themed dungeon with monsters from that universe.
The image of the beholder was generated by the DreamShaper AI model, then minorly edited afterwards. All other images are public domain images.
The original P2D system and original dungeon can be found HERE.
